The Human Resources Department serves Sarpy County by focusing its efforts on the County’s most valuable asset, its employees. This is accomplished through the development and delivery of programs and services designed to add value and support the County’s mission. Our core programs include the recruitment and hiring of qualified employees, administration of employee benefits, employee relations, retention efforts, organizational and employee development, job classification, compensation and labor market research, performance evaluation, HR information management, maintenance of personnel records, regulatory compliance, and the civil service grievance process.
