2018 SID Election Deadlines:
Monday, July 23, 2018 - SID Candidate Filing Deadline.
Wednesday, August 22, 2018 - Deadline for Election Office to mail SID ballots to entitled voters.
Tuesday, September 11, 2018 - SID Election Day. Ballot return deadline, 5:00 p.m. Sarpy County Election Commission. 501 Olson Drive Suite 4, Papillion. (South side of Highway 370)
Voter Registration Deadlines in order to voter in upcoming General Election:
Friday, October 19, 2018 - Last day for voter registration form to be delivered to the election office by someone other than the person registering. Last day voter registrations can be completed at or returned to State Agencies or Departments. Last day voter registrations can be completed at DMV. Last day for on-line voter registration. Postmark deadline for mailed-in registrations.
Friday, October 26, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. - Last day for in-person voter registration. Sarpy County Election Office. 501 Olson Drive Suite 4, Papillion. (South side of Highway 370)
Early Voting Deadlines:
Sunday, July 8, 2018 - First day for Election Office to accept early voting ballot request for the general election.
Tuesday, October 9, 2018 - Early voting begins in the Election Office. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (501 Olson Drive Suite 4, Papillion)
Friday, October 26, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. - Last day for the Election Office to receive an application for early voting ballots to be mailed out to a specific address.
Monday, November 5, 2018 - Last day for early voting in the Election Office. (501 Olson Drive Suite 4, Papillion)

The Election Commissioner's Office is responsible for maintaining the Sarpy County Voter Registration Database, for accepting certain candidate filing forms, and for conducting elections in Sarpy County.
Voters should re-register to vote every time they move, change their name, or wish to change their political party affiliation. If you do not re-register to vote, you may need to vote a Provisional Ballot at the polling site, which may increase the time it takes to vote.
