Monthly Siren Tests are scheduled for a 10:00 AM sounding.  Please keep in mind, testing may be suspended if inclement weather is in our area.

Sirens are designed for outdoor notification and you may not always hear them sound when you are in your home or a building.

Outdoor Warning Sirens are exactly for the purpose to alert those outdoors of impending emergencies and are not intended to warn you in your home or business.

Consider purchasing a " Weather Alert Radio" ...

Sarpy County EMA stresses the importance of having a Weather Alert Radio and having it tuned in to the National Weather Service for your broadcast area.  Please check the following website for more information (http://www.weather.gov/).

Sarpy County EMA also encourages you to tune into your local radio or television station(s for updates on Severe Weather events and other Emergencies to receive additional local information.

Siren issues may be reported to Sarpy County EMA...
